365 Tips Is On Winter Vacation!
As many of you know, I’ve spent the last five months in Germany focusing on my business and working with heart. On Wednesday, I’m leaving on a jet plane to head back to magnificent Mexico: my heart’s true home.
Before I return home to continue my heartwork, I have to apologize to my readers. For the past few weeks, Awesomepreneur has been in radio silence: both on the blog and social media. At first, I felt like a big, foolish failure for having made promises about daily blogging and quickly going off course. Then I remembered the reason I started this blog in the first place: to share my heartwork and encourage other awesomepreneurs to work with heart–not through a heart attack.
I wish I could say that my only stressor has been the madness of moving but as many of my fellow awesomepreneurs know, when it rains it pours! Family drama, health hiccups, and unanticipated client issues have made blogging nearly impossible, which is why I have chosen to send 365 Awesome Tips For Working With Heart–and myself–on a long winter vacation. I’m a big fan of praxis and hope these next few weeks will be a time of action and reflection: I know a blogcation will enrich my writing and deepen my heartwork.
This also means that I have chosen to postpone the release of What’s My (He)artwork? A 10 Day Action Diary for Awesomepreneurs so that my first eBook will also include this recent process of growth and learning. In our world, most of us are taught that we should run as fast as we can from crises–we choose to see hardship as our sworn enemy–yet I am learning to embrace these collisions of consciousness as signals that I am nearing a breakthrough, not a breakdown. At the same time, I know my body well enough to listen when it has something to say. Right now, my body says, “Stop!” and I am working on allowing my mind to catch up. I hope you, too, can bear with me as I give myself some much-needed rest and absorb the valuable wisdom the universe wants to share.
You can look forward to more 365 Awesome Tips For Working With Heart at the beginning of 2013. In the meantime, keep enjoying our interviews with Awesomepreneurs We Love and stay tuned for the official announcement of our upcoming Awesomepreneurs In Africa project with the delightful, insightful Faith Odhiambo and her partners at Girls Shift Africa!
With heart,
